Brandon Evans

Brandon Evans, 34, is a native of Gainesville, Ga. He is the son of Jimmy and Cecelia Evans and has two older brothers, Shamone and JJ Evans. Growing up in a music-driven home truly focused on faith, family and music shaped him and his career path. He earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from the great Georgia State University; and immediately after graduation, he became the piano teacher at Centennial Arts Academy in Gainesville, Ga. While teaching at Centennial Arts Academy from 2010-2015, his music business flourished. Over the past 15 years, over 60 students have come through B. Evans Music.

Brandon provides mobile music lessons and is a student mentor. In August 2018, Brandon was appointed Mentorship Coordinator for the Gainesville City Schools.

MEN ALIVE

In August 2018, Brandon was appointed Mentorship Coordinator for the Gainesville City Schools District.  His job is to seek mentors for students and connect them throughout the school system, which includes eight schools.  Under his leadership, there have been many partnerships including Center Point Mentoring, Boys and Girls Club and the Beulah Rucker Mentoring Program. His passion for mentorship has been evident in the years of service to young men, as well as his community as a whole. He truly strives to be a beacon of light in our community for young people.
